Now that the referral contest period is over, we need to hear from any members who participated and wish to claim the prizes. Those are still pretty much up for grabs, since we have not heard from any of the participants yet.

And something that all members can appreciate, the surfing ratios have been raised. In spite of the fact that, with the dynamic surfing ratio and other ways to win credits in place, members actually earn more credits - even with the lower surfing credits rates that we had before - many members were complaining that they felt cheated by RoyalSurf. So the view to credit ratio was raised all across the board. Enjoy.

The Strength Bonus accreditation has been changed to 100 page views. So you must now surf 100 pages to receive that daily. If any of you did not get Saturday’s (12 April 2008) Strength Bonus, please know that this is why. The change will go into affect fully at server changeover this evening. So expect to see the full change this week, and prepare for it.

RoyalSurf continues to grow at a rapid pace. We are now over 11,500 members strong! And our daily page view average is still in excess of 56,000. So we are really doing pretty well. Keep up the good work, Loyal Citizens. We appreciate your efforts!

And one final note, actually two:

1) With the new site verification system in place, Royal Citizens (free members) are once again being allowed to check their own sites. So please do not wait on us to take care of that.

2) We now check the banners and text links for our Royal Citizens. We had too many members who were abusing those features, so the King had a checker installed that allows us to check those from the admin area.  While we do try to check the banners and links two or more times daily, we may not always get to yours as quickly as you think we should. Remember, we are human beings too. And we do not sit in front of our computers 24 hours a day seven days a week. So bear with us and we will get those checked just as quickly as we are able.

One side note here is that you cannot add impressions to a banner or text link until it has been approved. I promise, the system ain’t broke.

While your Strength Bonus is accumulative, it is only awarded once daily, as long as you have surfed 100 pages. So you can actually earn a top Strength Bonus of +7 in one week’s period. This resets at the server reset time on Saturday evening, so you will start off on Sunday at +0 bonus again.

Note: You also receive a Surf Ratio Bonus at the same time, meaning that the number of credits per click increases.
