Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Calling ALL Citizens!

Join the new Joust Tournament for fun, excitement, camaraderie, and great traffic riches! There are no qualifications other than ye must be a citizen (member) of RoyalSurf Traffic Exchange. Every citizen regardless of level or title may participate. Be ye Royal Citizen, Royal Squire, or Royal Knight, or thy title be “Citizen,” “Lady,” or “Sir” — ALL are welcome to compete!

There shall be but five citizens to each team so the forming should be without challenge (easy). Ye may join a team that hath not yet reached 5 members or form thy own team.

Each team may pick a team leader and team name of their own choosing. I trust the naming of thy teams will bring honor to its members and the kingdom.

Use ye the RoyalSurf Forum to form up thy teams and make thy members, and team names known. Ye will find the RoyalSurf Forum here.

Use thy own criteria for the forming of thy teams of whom can join ye, but thy king asks that ye be respectful to all. If ye hath specific selection criteria, do express it clearly.

If sufficient numbers of teams hath formed in time, this new Joust Tournament shall begin on the coming of this Sunday, October 26, at 12:01 am Central time, commencing immediately upon server turnover. Otherwise, it shall be postponed until the next week. Thy king will announce whether the Joust is a go or not by no later than Saturday, October 25th.

What prize awaits the victors?

…Bragging Rights and Honor!

…the normal traffic credits for placing on the Joust Top 25, which are based on overall activity!

…PLUS, those on the Top 25 Winners list who are on the winning team shall each receive an Additional 1000 credits! This means several thousand credits for our Joust winners!

Recording of team members…

…team members must be recorded in the RoyalSurf Forum under their appropriate team thread by no later than 10:00 pm Central time on the preceding Saturday before the Joust begins.

Scoring…

…the winning team is decided based upon the team members who appear under “Last Week’s Joust Tournament Results” when the Joust ends — ONLY those Top 25 winners will be considered, and ONLY those specifically on a team.

…scoring will be based first on total number of Victories for each team member on the Top 25 Winners list, then least number of Defeats, and finally, any ties are broken by total pages surfed

…ONLY those winning team members who appear under “Last Week’s Joust Tournament Results” as Top 25 Winners when the Joust ends, receive the additional 1000 credits — ye will find this by clicking on the Joust Past button.

Competing in this great Joust is sure to have to be very rewarding in huge amounts of traffic, the forming of new friends, and in the gain even greater results.

Ye are invited to participate in a mighty competition that can easily earn and win several citizens thousands of traffic credits…

A great challenge hath been made beside the Royal Sign Post (that’s what we call our chatroom). On the occassion of this gathering… of which thy king is witness…

…the Ladies did challenge the Sirs to a Joust…

…and the challenge was ACCEPTED!

The Joust Tournament shall begin this Sunday, October 12, 2008, at 12:01 am Central time (when the server turns over) and ends the following Saturday with server turnover.

Leading for the Ladies is none other than Lady mickey143 with her Royal Jesterettes!

AND…

Leading the Sirs is none other than Sir bluescorpion with his Royal Scorpions!

Sir bluescorpion wishes to communicate the following to ALL citizens of the Sir persuasion…

“To all Sirs! To Arms! The Ladies hath challenged us, to a Joust! PM me (bluescorpion), to be included, in this Quest! Let’s show those Ladies, that they ‘Can’t Dance the Dance.’”

This is a competition that ALL citizens may join in regardless of thy level. Ye do NOT need to be upgraded to join in the fun. All ye need is…

…a yearning desire for Victory

…to be ye Lady or Sir (every citizen can change their Title to Lady or Sir by clicking on Thy Settings, scroll down to Account Settings, enter thy password, change thy Title and click Save)

…send a PM (Private Message) to Lady mickey143 or Sir bluescorpion as appropriate and express thy interest in joining the Joust

The stakes are high and should be of interest to ALL citizens. What prize await the victors?

The rules?

…any citizen can participate regardless of level

…ye must be on one team or the other, the Ladies or the Sirs - again, contact Lady mickey143 or Sir bluescorpion to join the team

…ye must adjust thy title to be Lady or Sir — see instructions above on how to do this

…team members must be recorded and provided to the king by the respective team leaders no later than Wednesday, October 15, during the week of the Joust — this will allow the gathering of thy knights as the excitement builds

Important Note: The Joust begins on Sunday, October 12th, but each team may continue to recruit members to join their team through Wednesday. This way, citizens are allowed to join the fun as the excitement builds.
