A sure way to lull surfers into “not” paying attention to the sites they view, is to show them too little variety.

When traffic exchanges first began they were primarily used by people who owned their own websites, so there were very few duplicate sites and great variety. As exchanges became more popular to the masses of people promoting affiliate programs, variety was quickly replaced with duplication and boredom.

Flat out, looking at hundreds of the same advertising messages over and over again causes people to lose interest.

Television, radio, newspaper and magazine advertisers all get this but it seems few members of traffic exchanges do. I’m sure you’ve noticed that the ads you read, hear and/or see are periodically changed to grab and keep the advertiser’s message in your mind.

Most companies don’t have thousands of other people advertising their products for them so, while you may see or hear their advertising message over and over, you rarely see or hear them back to back, and their messages are usually intermixed with other things that hold interest.

A huge contributor to people not paying attention to the sites rotating in an exchange is that the members are lazy with their advertising. The most frequent thing done by the majority of people using traffic exchanges is to use the same company provided affiliate pages that hundreds of other people are also using.

Fact is, many traffic exchange members contribute to their own poor results by not taking the time to make sure their advertising message is unique and stands out from the crowd.

Some members further contribute to their failure by not properly observing who their target audience is, and then trying to meet their wants or needs. This frequently results in people advertising things that are doomed to failure from the start because few exchange members are interested in what they are offering.

Don’t be lazy with your advertising. Make sure your message stands out, grabs attention, and is unique, and then keep it fresh in the minds of your audience by changing it frequently.

It is time to take responsibility for your results and that means learning and putting to action those things that make a difference. If you want to change your results, STOP advertising the same affiliate pages that everyone else. Either take the time to make your own splash pages or lead capture pages, or hire it done. There are lots of great services that will make them for you, and plenty of online services that let you do it yourself as simple as 1, 2, 3.

By doing so you will have done your part to keep variety in the exchanges you use and the more people who do this will ultimately end with better results for everyone.

Are YOU making traffic exchanges boring?

A very important part of internet marketing is the squeeze page. It is a webpage designed solely to get the email address. The goal is achieved by urging the visitor to go for opt-in in order to get fantastic information/deals/discounts.

A squeeze page gives a tantalizing glimpse of the main content so that the visitor is compelled to go for the main page. The main aim of doing this is to generate the email list of targeted visitors who can be later converted into dedicated customers.

These kinds of list make up the backbone of internet marketing and squeeze page is the gateway for it. So you can understand the importance of squeeze page for both online and offline marketing. So to help you in driving traffic to your squeeze page, here are some squeeze page traffic tips for both online and offline marketing.

•	First make sure that your squeeze page is very attractive. From the theme to color scheme everything should be perfect.

•	Next comes the content of the page. There is a catch here; if you provide just a little information and promise that rest will be revealed only when the visitor provides his or her email address, then you may lose some of them. Many are offended that just in order to see some site they have to divulge their email address. So make sure you provide enough information so that the visitor knows that you have something valuable to offer and that more is there in the main site that is worth giving their email address for.

•	Well written articles related to your field of work and placed in such sites like Ezine, hub page or Squidoo is another good idea. This sites let you link back to your squeeze page which then can be used for obtaining the email address of the visitor. Make sure you offer some kind of free be in the articles so that the customer is intrigued enough to click on the link.

•	Squeeze page are often overlooked by site engines as they have no real content but only links. In order to crack this impasse what you can do is write SEO rich articles with links to your squeeze page and place them in the same domain. That way, search sites like Google with consider your webpage for its content and help you drive traffic to your squeeze page.

To your success,

Without a doubt, getting traffic to a website is of utmost importance to your business growth and development, not to mention sales! In short, until you get people coming to your site, your purpose will not be served and money won’t flow into your accounts. I.E. you will not be able to make money as you won’t be getting business.

The bottom line is thus: If any website is not getting the required number of qualified visitors its way, it means that the website lacks for something. And this something is generally visibility.

You see, users are not able to get the website when they are looking for its products and services. What should be done in such a situation? In such a situation webmasters need to increase the visibility of their website.

How to Increase Website Visibility

There are a number of ways in which you can get free website traffic to your site. This includes several techniques such as search engine optimization (SEO), often in combination of any of the following: link building, article writing and submission, social bookmarking, social media marketing, article submission and directory submission services. In each of these methods the main aim to promote the website. Links are exchanged between two or more websites so that free flow of traffic can be got from these sites. Advertisements in the form of banner ads projecting the main offers of the website along with its benefits can do wonders for any business. If the website has more online presence its visibility will surely increase.

Many SEO experts believe that having informative content in a website can bring in lot of traffic. The content should not be an assembly of information arranged in a haphazard manner, but it should be presented in a way so that the user gets all information that they are looking for. Keywords that highlight many services or products should also be used several times in the content which acts as a tool of SEO. Marketers lay stress on the fact that users should get what they want or else they will not come back to the website. In such a case you will lose your repeat customers.

Though there are many ways in which you can get traffic to your website some may cost you some money too. There are plenty of other ways in which you can bring in traffic to your website without having to spend any money. The traffic generation remains the same and the benefits derived are many.

That’s all for now. Happy surfing!

To your success,
